• Friday, January 6 - 8th grade registration information sessions with high school counselors
• Tuesday, January 10, 5pm, Kennedy High School - Information session for parents of Honors and AVID 8th graders going to Kennedy next year
• Tuesday, January 10, 6pm, Kennedy High School - Information session for parents of 8th graders going to Kennedy next year
• Monday, January 30 - 8th grade registration day
• Friday, February 3 - 8th grade registration make-up day
• Monday, February 6, 6:30pm, VVMS Auditorium - Incoming Grade 6 Information Night
• February 7, 8 and 9 - Counselors go to elementary schools to talk to incoming 5th graders
• February 13, 14 and 15 - Registration for next year's 7th and 8th graders

VVMS would like to thank Walmart for the $1000 in grant money received for our new AVID program. 

AVID classes are forming now and will begin soon.

• Cost from now until March 4th - $23
• Order by March 4th and get a personalized cover!
• After March 4th, cost will be $25 and can only be purchased on Signing Day in June.

The Bloomington Parent-Teacher-Student-Association (PTSA) Council will host two parent workshops featuring College Planning Adviser, Kevin Kruger from 7 - 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 28 at Oak Grove Middle School and Dr. Steven Kahn author of Insightful Parenting: Making Moments Count from 7 - 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 20 at Olson Middle School.
